Canavan Architecture is an architecture and design studio led by Irish architect Fíona Canavan in Dundee, Scotland. 

 

Fíona studied architecture in her hometown in the Dublin School of Architecture, TU Dublin, where she graduated with a first class honours Bachelor of Architecture.

She has worked in architecture practices in Berlin, New York and Dundee, on a diverse range of residential, cultural, domestic and commercial design projects before starting working on a freelance basis from her Dundee home.

 

Currently she is engaged with mostly domestic work but has worked on competitions, urban design and cultural projects recently. She is committed to working closely with clients and users, as well as other design professionals, to create beautiful spaces of all sizes.

She is a registered architect with the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) and is a part-time tutor in Year 1 in the School of Architecture and Urban Planning in the University of Dundee for the 21/21 academic year.
